Georgia: The nation's #1 gateway for Ro/Ro

With secure Roll-on/Roll-off facilities in Brunswick, the Georgia Ports Authority is the No. 1 busiest in the nation for total Ro/Ro trade. As a dedicated Ro/Ro facility, the Colonels Island Terminal in Brunswick features three on-terminal auto processors, including International Auto Processing, Mercedes-Benz USA, and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solutions. The Port of Brunswick offers three modern Ro/Ro berths, served by nine steamship lines. Current annual capacity is more than 900,000 vehicles. Full build-out will provide 150,000 spaces for automobile processing, for an annual capacity of 1.5 million vehicles. New Southside Railyard doubles rail capacity from five to 10 trains per week. Fourth berth coming soon to better serve Ro/Ro carriers.
