ISSUED:  September 15, 2002 EFFECTIVE:  October 01, 2002
SUBJECT:  INSURANCE

The facility is operated as a licensed public warehouse under the United States Warehouse Act and has both a federal and Georgia state license.  All grain received by the facility is considered to be placed in storage in accordance with the regulations regarding same, unless the owner of the grain or its authorized agent requests otherwise prior to receipt, and the facility agrees therewith.  As such the facility provides fire and extended coverage (lightning, windstorm or hail, explosion, riot, smoke, civil commotion, aircraft or vehicle, and vandalism), provided it is procurable, to cover the market value of commodities stored in the facility and in railcars on the facility premises.  The cost of this insurance is included in the charges for receiving and delivering.
