Unless otherwise specified herein, overtime work will be performed at the discretion of the Facility Management. The facility management reserves the right to determine the necessity of working overtime to promote maximum efficiency of the Authority's agricultural commodity handling facilities. Upon request of Facility Management, vessels will work unlimited overtime at their own expense. Any vessel refusing to work overtime, shall vacate the berth and go to the bottom of the list of vessels awaiting berth. If the Elevator is required to work past 1600 hours on weekdays, Facility Management will be notified not later than 1400 hours of the same day. If the Elevator is required to work on Saturday, and/or Sunday, or holidays, Facility Management will be notified not later than 1400 hours of the regular work day preceding the weekend or holiday. Overtime charges will be assessed against the party requesting overtime work.

Overtime ordered as a continuation of a scheduled shift will be charged at actual hours worked in one-quarter (1/4) hour increments. Overtime ordered as a call-out will be charged at a minimum of four (4) hours and thereafter at actual hours worked in one-quarter (1/4) hour increments.
