Dockage charges on all vessels and barges except LASH barges will be computed on the basis of the highest gross registered tonnage (GRT) as published in LLOYD'S REGISTER OF SHIPPING. The charges are subject to a minimum charge of $1500.00 per 24-hour period or fraction thereof, except LASH barges.
Bulk Carrier $0.42 per GRT per 24-hour period or fraction thereof
Tankers, Tween-Deckers $0.52 per GRT per 24-hour period or fraction thereof
If the Authority requires vessels or barges to vacate a berth within the first 12 hours of a dockage period, the Authority will assess one-half of the above charges, as applicable.
LASH BARGES
Loading or discharging cargo at the Bulk Facility, Colonel's Island Terminal
Each 24-hour period or fraction thereof, per barge $295.00
EARLY OR LAY DOCKAGE
Vessels desiring to dock prior to beginning work may be granted early or lay dockage, subject to the following condition:
Availability of a berth and at the discretion/approval of the General Manager or the Facility Logistics Coordinator, Agribulk Operations.
The dockage charge assessed shall be one-half of the applicable rate, from the time of berth arrival until the vessel begins working. Once work begins, the applicable rate in this rule shall apply.
