Summary

The project consists of recoating the interior and exterior of the 250,000 gallon elevated water tank at the Garden City Terminal, the tank's supporting steel structure and the tank's masonry pump house.  The work also includes structural repairs to improve tank access for maintenance such as replacing the tank's internal ladder, access hatch and catwalk decking.

Basic Requirements
for Bidders:

Specific project insurance requirements are determined on an individual project basis. However, all contractors performing work on the GPA’s property must comply with the GPA’s basic insurance requirements.

  • General Liability: $1,000,000 Limit (per occurrence)
  • General Auto: $1,000,000 Limit (per occurrence)
  • Workers’ Compensation: Proof of Coverage

All projects of $40,000 or more require Payment and Performance Bonds.
