Summary

The project consists of pavement rehabilitation to approximately 23.5 acres of the container yard at the Garden City Terminal Container Berths 4, 5 & 6.  The work includes new paving, high mast lighting, drainage improvements, fire protection improvements, and support electrical equipment.  This project is partially funded by Federal Stimulus Funds.

Basic Requirements
for Bidders:

Specific project insurance requirements are determined on an individual project basis. However, all contractors performing work on the GPA’s property must comply with the GPA’s basic insurance requirements.

  • General Liability: $1,000,000 Limit (per occurrence)
  • General Auto: $1,000,000 Limit (per occurrence)
  • Workers’ Compensation: Proof of Coverage

All projects of $40,000 or more require Payment and Performance Bonds.
