The mission of the Georgia Ports Authority's Communications Team is to develop and implement proactive outreach initiatives targeting the international press, our customers and the general public. The team is responsible for maintaining open lines of communication with civic and trade associations, elected officials, academia, governmental entities and port-users. Through speaking engagements, events, and numerous other outreach initiatives the GPA Communications Team keeps the connection between Georgia's ports and the public strong. The GPA Communications Team provides information detailing the activities of the Authority through such tools as the world wide web, news releases, the Georgia Ports Authority AnchorAge, advertising, video, electronic tools, and photography.
