Gate Access

The following gate information is provided to assist media representatives in locating the proper entrance to GPA terminals. Media representatives are instructed to telephone the GPA External Affairs Division (800.342.8012, 912.964.3855) to coordinate arrival at a prearranged time and are subject to established access controls.

All guests must be properly authorized to enter the terminal and must be accompanied by a member of the GPA Communications Team at all times. Please see "Proper Credentialing" found in the GPA Media Guide for details.

Designated gate locations for media access are subject to change and should be confirmed prior to arrival with the GPA External Affairs Division. Only properly authorized guests may enter the terminal.

Unless otherwise advised by the GPA External Affairs Division, no photography, nor filming, is allowed.

Unauthorized entry to any GPA facility via land or water is unlawful and subject to prosecution.

The Port of Savannah

Garden City Terminal- Gate 5, located on Highway 25 North in Garden City / Port Wentworth and adjacent to the GPA Administration Building, is designated as the terminal's primary gate for properly authorized media access.

Ocean Terminal- Gate 2, located on North Lathrop Avenue, is designated as the terminal's primary gate for properly authorized media access.

New Port Terminal- New Port Terminal is owned by the GPA and leased to a private terminal operator. Access to this terminal, located in Port Wentworth, should be coordinated via the GPA External Affairs Division, with External Affairs coordinating your request for access with the private terminal operator. Proper authorization is required. The terminal operator has the right to refuse access to any guest.

The Port of Brunswick

Mayor's Point Terminal- The terminal's main gate is located at 1100 Bay Street, adjacent to the port's Administration Office. This gate serves as the designated gate for properly authorized media access.

All guests must be properly authorized to enter the terminal and must be accompanied by a member of the GPA Communications Team, or a designated Senior Manager assigned by the Brunswick Administration Team, at all times.

Colonel's Island Terminal- Located 2.5 miles east of I-95 on U.S. Highway 17, the terminal's main gate (North side of the terminal) is designated for properly authorized media access.

Marine Port Terminals- The terminal's main gate is located at 225 Newcastle Street. Marine Port Terminals is owned by the GPA and leased to a private terminal operator. Access to this terminal should be coordinated via the GPA External Affairs Division, with External Affairs coordinating your request for access with the private terminal operator.

All guests must be properly authorized to enter the terminal and must be accompanied by a member of the GPA Communications Team, or a designated representative of Logistec U.S.A., at all times. Logistec U.S.A. reserves the right to refuse access to any guest.

Port Bainbridge

The Bainbridge Terminal’s main gate is located at 1321 Spring Street. This gate serves as the designated gate for properly authorized media access.

All guests must be properly authorized to enter the terminal and must be accompanied by a member of the GPA Communications Team, or a designated Senior Manager assigned by the Bainbridge Administration Team, at all times.

Port Columbus

Port Columbus is owned by the GPA and leased to a private terminal operator. Access to this terminal should be coordinated via the GPA External Affairs Division, with External Affairs coordinating your request for access with the private terminal operator.

All guests must be properly authorized to enter the terminal and must be accompanied by a member of the GPA Communications Team, or a designated representative of S.T. Services, at all times. S.T. Services reserves the right to refuse access to any guest.
