Economic Development Administration The realignment of Container Berths 4, 5 and 6 will allow the container stacks to be parallel to the dock, accessed by RTGs (rubber tired gantry cranes) for terminal densification, full utilization of the automatic inventory and terminal operating systems in this container field area while upgrading almost 40 year old asphaltic pavement. The estimated investment cost is $5,000,000 with the Georgia Ports Authority providing $3,000,000 and requesting $2,000,000 in federal funding.
