Ocean Terminal is located within a few miles of several interstates – 1.2 miles (1.9km) of Interstate 16 (East/West), 10 miles (16.1km) of Interstate 95 (North/South) and 1.5 miles (2.4km) of Interstate 516. Norfolk Southern Railroad provides switching services on-terminal. Upon request, a privately operated shuttle car is available for on-terminal switching 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Line-haul services are provided by Norfolk Southern Railroad and CSX Transportation.
