2016 Port of Brunswick
State of the Port Address

At the annual Brunswick State of the Port event Wednesday, October 5, Georgia Ports Authority Executive Director Griff Lynch announced a 100-acre expansion of the Colonel's Island auto terminal, and welcomed Logistec's announcement of the completion of 221,000 square feet of wood pellet storage at GPA's East River Terminal. The Port of Brunswick is the nation’s fastest growing autoport, and a hub for farm exports. With 652 acres available for development, Brunswick is poised for continued expansion.

State of the Port Address

Georgia Ports Authority Executive Director Griff Lynch addressed more than 1,400 attendees during the 2016 State of the Port address, Thursday, September 15, 2016, in Savannah, Ga. 

During the annual address, Lynch detailed a new strategic rail initiative, ‘GPA’s Mid-American Arc,’ and welcomed Floor & Decor’s announcement of Phase 1, a 1.4 million square-foot distribution center complex.
